WPR is partnering with local musicians to bring live classical music to local breweries this spring. Join us for an afternoon of classical favorites, pop covers and craft brews. We’ll be at The Brewing Projekt with Ignite Ensemble on Saturday, May 18th. Grab a friend and spend the afternoon supporting local music, local radio and local breweries!

The newly formed Ignite Ensemble, based in the Twin Cities, formed with one mission in mind: to ignitea flame in their audiences. From inspiring youth with classroom performances in public schools to showing up in places classical music can’t typically be found, Ignite engages with audiences by performing music that is relevant to modern listeners.

Ignite Ensemble is made up of a reed trio formed by members Caroline Schmitter (oboe), Andrew Mahonen (clarinet), and Cassandra Roaché (bassoon). Outside of the Ignite Ensemble, all three members are accomplished musicians and passionate educators in their communities.
